Earthquake Casualty

While I rode the earthquake out on the couch talking on the phone, Hunter was safely tucked away in his crib taking a nap. While we experienced a lot of shaking here at the condo, the media made it sound like a 10.5 earthquake hit this valley. Quite a few things fell over, and unfortunately we had a casualty over here........

A Baby Shower...

On Sunday, my sister hosted another wonderful shower for her dear friend Kristine. The shower was so wonderful, and all of the gifts are giving Dave and Kristine a wonderful start to life with their new baby girl.

Lunch date

Last week, Wayne, Hunter and I met our friends Michelle, Brooke, and Aunt Debbie for lunch at a local restaurant. Our little lunch date turned very exciting when Wayne and Aunt Debbie joined us at the last minute. We had so much fun, catching up and enjoying the kids.

I Love Oma ......

Wayne's mom Karen goes by the delightful name of Oma. The name is so catching that I find myself calling her Oma. Hunter always smiles when I talk about Oma, especially when she calls him on the "fake phone". I found this shirt on Cafepress.com, and it makes me smile everytime Hunter wears it. Oma's are the best !

A day at the beach.....

A couple of weeks ago, we went to the beach to visit with Grandma Dorothy who was staying in Oxnard with friends. We had a great day playing and relaxing.

Can you believe how tan this kid is ? He is this tan because it is sinfully hot here, and we swim everyday. And before you ask, yes I put sun tan lotion on him. In fact, I put it on him three or four times a day.

In the last week, I started putting a new twist on bath time by adding Fizzy Tub colors. It took Hunter a few days to notice the change of water color, but now that he knows he gets a kick out of it. Seems like a fun way to spice up bath time.

On Thursday morning after the toilet paper incident, we went to play with our play group. Hunter, John and Maddie had a good old time together. Hunter has known John, Maddie and Haley since he was 3 months old when we started taking a music class together. It has been so much fun meeting new mommy friends, and watching the babies grow up together.

Toilet Paper Bandit

On Thursday morning while I talked to Wayne on the phone, I looked up and found Hunter walking out of the bathroom with half of toilet paper roll dragging behind him. I quess someone forgot to close the bathroom door. I wonder who it was......

Aquatic Center

On Wednesday, a big group of us headed over to the Aquatic center for a couple of hours to cool off. Wayne was able to join us, and see Hunter in action. Hunter swims all around, rides the slides, and plays in the fountains.

Marvelous Monday

Bright and early Monday morning, Wayne, Hunter and I went to Aunt Janice's to swim with Landon. Hunter and I have been going over there quite a bit, and the boys play really well together. On this morning , Wayne was starting his days off and wanted to surprise his aunt by coming with us to swim.
