Memorial Day Weekend

On Saturday, my Aunt Jean and Uncle Jim came down from Fresno to see our new house. We had the family over for dinner , and had a good time visiting. On Sunday, we went to breakfast and enjoyed ourselves outside in the backyard. Aunt Jean was great about getting down and dirty with Hunter.

On Sunday evening after my aunt and uncle went home we had friends and family over for some poker. This time a new little somebody joined them in their fun and was happy with his one chip. He played a little poker, and played baseball outside with Monica.

Great Place for a Nap...

Now that Hunter has officially transitioned to a "big boy bed", we face the reality that it is not always possible to keep him in his bed. About 45 minutes after his nap began the other day, he stood at the top of the stairs looking for me. He came down and joined me on the couch, and eventually made his way to the floor where he slept another hour and a half. Its not ideal, but it worked !
