Hunter had his first t-ball game on Saturday, and it was so fun !

Dan and Wayne did great with the kids, and the boys had so much fun...

Hunter was fielding balls and making plays at first like a champ.

Redline Cup

On Saturday, I took Hunter to the Redline Cup BMX race in Whittier . 

 It was quite a learning experience. 

First round, he finished 2nd against a full group of 5 year old boys. Getting second in that race advanced him right to the main event. 

So then the sitting around and waiting began. We waited hours for the main event. 

During mains he came out of the gate quickly but after the first few bumps, another boy hit his tire and they both went down. So in the end he finished last! I was heart broken for him but knew that it would/could happen. It was just a matter of time before it did happen.

 It was a really long day but a good experience. Hunter is one win away from moving to intermediate which will bring on a whole other level of competition.

Lots of decisions to be made...... Should we continue? How much do we want to do this? How much money do you put into it?

Buddy and Me

Since last fall Madalynn and I have been going to the Buddy and Me class through the Parks and Rec.  She loves it, loves Miss Diane, and enjoys doing art and singing songs.

 she enjoyed it until she realized how messy her hands were, so she moved onto painting

At the third table Miss Diane was offering stamping, and this little girl loves to stamp :)

Dodgers

It is baseball season again and this season Hunter is on the Dodgers.

Wayne and his friend Dan took a team together, and are so great with the kids.

We are so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people. There are three other boys from Hunter's school that we were able to get on the team.
