Tuesday we were able to spend the afternoon at Castaic Lake on Mike and Jamie's boat. We had so much fun ! The weather was great, we ate dinner and enjoyed the time together.

National Night Out 2012
On Thursday we took the kids to Palmdale to National Night Out. The city of Palmdale hosts this event ever year to encourage people to come out of their houses. There were tons of emergency vehicles, and vendors to entertain the kids. We had a yummy dinner at The Yard House before heading over.

Irvine
My mom, the kids and I headed to Irvine to see a family friend for the day. We went to this really cool swimming area and Hunter had a blast going down the slide. We then went over to Irvine Park to ride the train , and ride the horses.
After riding the horses we went into the Orange County Zoo. It only cost $2, it was really small but you can see a bunch of cool animals and can get very close to the animals.
After a full day we ended it by going to The Rainforest Cafe,and riding the carousel. It was a great summer day !
